Welcoming a Golden New Life - Fresh 48 Session at Mercy Hospital St. Louis

There is something so incredibly sacred about those first hours after a baby is born… the quiet, the awe, the way time seems to slow as a family meets their newest love for the very first time.
This beautiful Fresh 48 session took place at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, less than 24 hours after this sweet baby boy made his arrival into the world. Weighing in at a perfect 9 pounds, he was calm, cozy, and already so deeply loved.
One of the very first things you notice about him is that beautiful, super blonde hair — soft and wispy, almost glowing in the gentle hospital light. It’s those little details that make these sessions so meaningful… the tiny fingers, sweet wrinkly toes, the fresh baby stretches, complete wonder.
Fresh 48 sessions are not about perfection. They are about presence.
This session was all about baby, Momma and Daddy want to wait until the newborn session for some with them.
This little guy is already so lucky to be welcomed by a loving family — and I absolutely cannot wait to continue documenting his story during his newborn session. Watching him settle into life at home, and documenting him with his big brother f is going to be something truly special.
Those sibling connections… they are magic in the making.
These first hours pass in such a blur, but they are the beginning of everything.
And they deserve to be remembered.
