ST. LOUIS BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHY

The strength. The emotion. The waiting. The first breath. The moment you finally meet. Documentary birth photography that preserves the moments you lived—and the ones you may have missed.

Your birth story deserves to be remembered.

MORE THAN SOMEONE WITH A CAMERA

I understand the birth room

.Birth is intimate, unpredictable and incredibly personal. The person documenting it should understand more than camera settings and beautiful light.

As both a birth photographer and doula, I understand the rhythm of labor, the importance of protecting your birth space, and how to document your story without becoming the center of it.

I know when to move closer and when to step back. I watch for the big moments—but also the ones you may not realize are happening: your partner's hand on your back, the look exchanged across the room, the way your support team surrounds you, and those first seconds of taking in your baby.

My approach is calm, respectful and trauma-informed. Your comfort, privacy and choices matter throughout your entire birth experience.

YOUR BIRTH STORY

So much happens between “we’re having a baby” and “they’re here.”

Birth photography isn't only about the moment your baby is born. It's about preserving the entire story—the anticipation, the support, the strength, the emotion and those first hours of becoming a family.

WHAT BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHY FEELS LIKE

You can forget about the camera.

My goal isn't to direct your birth or ask you to perform for the camera. It's to quietly document your story as it unfolds.

I work with the rhythm of the room—moving when I need to, stepping back when I don't, and respecting the space of your partner, doula and medical team.

You won't hear me asking you to look at the camera or recreate a moment. I'm watching for the real ones: the squeeze of a hand during a contraction, your partner's expression when they see your baby, the tears, the laughter, the relief and the tiny details happening around you.

You experience your birth. I'll remember it for you.

READY TO PRESERVE YOUR BIRTH STORY?

The hours may feel long while you’re living them, but someday they’ll be a blur. The hands that held yours. The look on your partner’s face. The first time you saw your baby.

Let me preserve the pieces you’ll never want to forget.

You only get to live this day once.

I hired Terri for birth photos and she did not disappoint. The photos are amazing and the fact that I could just take it all in and not try to document everything with photos myself was worth every penny! Thank you.
