FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY FAQ
A few things you might be wondering.

They don’t have to! Your children are allowed to be children. We’ll play, move, take breaks and follow their lead when needed. I’ll gently guide your family without expecting everyone to sit still and smile perfectly at the camera.

Family sessions can take place outdoors at one of my favorite locations around the St. Louis area or somewhere meaningful to your family. Storytelling sessions can also take place in your home or another location that feels like part of your real life.

You don’t need perfectly matching outfits. I recommend coordinating colors, comfortable clothing and pieces that feel like you. Once your session is booked, I’m happy to help with wardrobe choices so everything photographs beautifully together.

A Family Session is approximately 45 minutes and includes a mix of gently guided portraits and natural interaction. A Storytelling Session is 60–90 minutes and is much more documentary—think bath time, baking together, playing in the backyard or spending an afternoon at your favorite park. I can be almost completely hands-off or offer gentle direction when you need it.

Absolutely. Studio Milestone sessions are perfect for first smiles, tummy time, sitting, crawling, birthdays and all the little stages in between. They’re short, relaxed and designed around your child’s age and personality.

Milestones & Magic includes five photography sessions to use from pregnancy through baby’s 13th month. You choose the moments you want documented—maternity, newborn, milestones, an eligible holiday mini, first birthday or simply a stage you never want to forget. A simple monthly payment option is available.
