We’ll create the beautiful portraits everyone wants, but we’ll also leave plenty of room for movement, laughter, personality and the moments that don’t feel posed at all.

You don’t have to know how to pose. That’s my job.
Most seniors aren’t professional models—and I don’t expect you to be.
I’ll give you plenty of direction so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands, where to look or whether you’re doing it “right.” But we’ll also move, laugh, explore and leave room for the moments that happen naturally.
Bring the outfits you love. Your instrument. Your jersey. Your car. Your dog. Your favorite books. Something that represents the person you are right now.
Because these photographs shouldn’t just show what you looked like senior year.
They should show who you were.

This Is Your Year gives you three opportunities to document it all.
Start with your full Senior Experience, then choose two additional mini sessions throughout the year.

SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHY FAQ
A few things you might be wondering.

Senior sessions can happen anytime during senior year, but I recommend reaching out early if you have a particular season in mind. Fall dates especially tend to fill quickly. Some seniors photograph the summer before senior year, while others wait until spring—there really isn’t a wrong time.

Perfect—you don’t need to. I’ll guide you through the entire session so you know what to do with your hands, where to look and how to move. We’ll mix gently posed portraits with plenty of movement and natural moments so your photographs still feel like you.

Your Senior Session includes up to two outfits. The Senior Experience gives us more time for multiple outfit changes and variety. I recommend choosing outfits that show different sides of your personality rather than bringing several versions of the same look. Don’t forget accessories, hats, shoes, jewelry are all fun.

Absolutely. And, I encourage it. Those are often the things that make senior photographs the most meaningful. Bring your instrument, jersey, dance shoes, books, artwork, car, dog—or anything else that has been an important part of your high school years.

We’ll choose a location based on the look and feel you want. St. Louis gives us everything from urban streets and architecture to parks, fields and natural settings. If there’s a location that means something to you, tell me about it. Your Senior Experience can include up to two nearby locations.

This Is Your Year is for seniors who want to document more than one moment. It includes your full Senior Experience plus two additional mini sessions during senior year. Use them for sports, another season, best friends, prom, a college announcement, cap and gown—or whatever chapters of senior year matter most to you.
